उत्तर प्रदेश माटी कला बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष धर्म वीर प्रजापति ने विकास भवन के सभागार में माटी कला से जुड़े लोगों के बीच कहा कि आम जन माटी से जुड़ी कला कृतियों , बर्तनों को उपयोग में लाएं क्योंकि इन बर्तनों में पकाया भोजन स्वास्थ्य के लिए बहुत फायदेमंद है ।
उन्होंने कहा कि केन्द्र सरकार और प्रदेश सरकार माटी कला से जुड़े लोगों के उत्थान के लिए कृत संकल्प है, उन्होंने इस अवसर पर १० कारीगरों को विद्युत चालित चाक प्रदान किए, जिसमें एक की कीमत सत्रह हजार रुपए है, ये उन्हें निशुल्क प्रदान किए गए हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि माटी से जुड़ी कला कृतियों की विदेशों में काफी मांग है।
इस अवसर पर मुख्य विकास अधिकारी तेज़ प्रताप मिश्र, ग्रामोद्योग अधिकारी राजेंद्र सिंह, अपर सूचना अधिकारी नीतू कनौजिया भी उपस्थित थीं।
